Spring Is What I've Missed

Does the weather seem to be warming up? It seems to be here in the South West. But the mornings are usually so cold that I forget how warm the afternoons will turn out to be. Isn't that such a bummer? You go to class wearing a coat just to keep you warm for the early morning hours, only to end up carrying it the rest of the day because the day turns out to be a hot one. I love it nonetheless. I guess you could say that I'm a "Spring Time Girl." Essentially, this time of the year is when my winter blues start to fade away and the new flower blossoms bloom into my world, bringing lovely subtle colors of pinks, yellows, and purples. This is when my heart starts to bloom as well. My fingers are no longer frozen with the winter, and I am now able to reach out, pick a flower, and thank Mother Nature for giving birth to new flower buds. As my hands are full of flowers and the smell of fresh new soil, my heart takes in the scent and skips a beat as the lovely spring kisses my cheek. These words do not bring justice to how much I love the spring. Spring time is also full of love! This time last year I fell in love with a wonderful guy and to this day, we are still happily together. This time last year, he picked flowers for me, drew flowers for me, and called me his own "flower." It made me love spring even more than I had before.
I hope everyone is enjoying the spring time, even if the mornings still feel quite chilly.

I dare not say

How little my heart breaks
nor how much I wrestle and wake
when I remeber how much is at stake.
I dare not say
how much I wish to speak
and how much it hurts to think
of how hard this must be.
I dare not say
how I walk alone at night
with just the moon by my side
and pray to God til daylight.
I dare not say
how much I wish for you to see
this star that has followed me
and whispered how you can be free.
I dare not say
how much my feeble heart loves you
and how He has made me anew,
oh, how I wish you knew.
I dare not say
that today or tomorrow is the day
when I can take your hand and say,
"There's someone to show you the way."

March Mustache Madness

This man's beard/mustache has made my day.
And this was just cute (:
So I'm currently at the university right now, waiting for my guitar ensemble class to start. I have a head ache and my back is killing me. I'd like a back rub. Mmmm now wouldn't that be nice. And good news! It has warmed up today! It's so warm that I could probably break out a skirt and go for a walk, without shivering. This is very good news, indeed. I can't wait until more flowers and trees begin to bloom. Some have started, but many are still asleep in hibernation. Praise God spring is almost here. <3
God Bless everyone, hope you have a lovely week.

Shine, shine on

I've been looking at a lot of fashion on lookbook.com (have
you visited this site yet? You totally should if you love fashion!)
and the looks on there have gotten me very intrigued! So yesterday
while I was home alone I put on a little outfit and posed for my
camera. I wanted these to turn out and I think they're okay though
I'm not sure I'd say they're successful, or are they? If you are
familiar with lookbook, what would you say? Even if you are not
familiar with this site, how do you like these? Just stop in and
let me know what you think. Please and thank you (:

Fury Lips

We wear mustaches in public places.
We're not ashamed.
Word.

"Run like a race for family
When you hear like you're alone
The rusty gears of morning
And faceless, busy phones
We gladly run in circles
But the shape we meant to make is gone
And love is a tired symphony
You hum when you're awake
And love is a crying baby
Mama warned you not to shake
And love's the best sensation
Hiding in the lion's mane
So I'll clear the road, the gravel
And the thornbush in your path
That burns a scented oil
That I'll drip into your bath
The water's there to warm you
And the earth is warmer when you laugh
And love is the scene I render
When you catch me wide awake
And love is the dream you enter
Though I shake and shake and shake you
And love's the best endeavorWaiting in the lion's mane."

Lion's Mane.

Could this be out of line. To say that you're the only one?

So contagiously.
